Fernando Narvaez Perez started producing his own tracks at the age of 12 in the mid 90s. He was inspired by a wide variety of music – not only hardcore, but also hip hop, drum'n'bass and techno as well as the soundtracks of movies such as Hellraiser, The Thing, Alien, Blade Runner, The Abyss and other Sci-Fi, Horror and Zombie-flicks.
In the 2000s a number of vinyl releases came out under the name Vile Enginez on Sub/Version and Zhark International that established him as a force to be reckoned with in the breakcore and hardest-of-the-hard drum'n'bass scenes. Far from being run-of-the-mill fodder of the Noughties, his output not only questioned the strict confinements of genres, but went far beyond it.
Recent releases – mostly digital – encompassed such diverse genres as funk, minimal techno and gabber, while his last CD release 'Construct Deconstruct' on Praxis showed him at a peak of experimental breakcore. Evidently Fernando was applying his production skills to a more varied sound but regularly returning to slamming beats and far-out noise constructions making Noirodyn the logical continuation and development of Vile Enginez, but at the same time branching out in different directions.
